Have questions? We have answers!
Who’s in charge around here? Who do I ask questions?
-Sandy (she/her Tabby Lionhead Rabbit) and Thor (he/him German Shepherd) are co-owners and ready to answer any question you have! We also have many staff available. If you have a suggestion for us feel free to shoot a message in the suggestions channel of our Discord and if you have an issue, please feel free to shoot a message on the Contact Us Page or in the help desk channel on our Discord!
Are there volunteer positions for the convention?
-Absolutely! Click the Volunteer button on our website and fill out the form to help out at Frosty Fur Fest 2026! Volunteers will be contacted Jan with more information! Volunteers are given a t-shirt and badge at the convention! Please make sure that you get your ticket and lodging sorted out before January 14th! If you do not sign-up early, check the Help Desk for last-minute spots – we always need extra hands!
Will there be a Dealer’s Den/Artist Alley?
-Heck yeah there will be! We have 23 Vendors from all over the USA coming down sell their spectacular goodies
Are there Sponsor Passes, VIP Passes, or donations accepted?
-We will definitely have those options available! The tiers and specific benefits are available on the Registration Page! As far as donations, we have a Donate Page where you can donate to us or Charity!
Is this convention for all ages?
-Yes it is! We do have events that are 16+ and 18+ Saturday (Day 1-Feb 14th) night, but Saturday before 8pm and all day Sunday (Day 2-Feb 15th), we have LOTS of great all-ages events.
Is there a room block?
-Yes there is! Once you purchase your ticket, you will receive a second email containing the link to book your room in the FFF Room Block at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge! The link is also available on the Event Location page. Please note, if you book your room outside of the room block instead, the credit will not go to FFF. If you have any trouble with the link, please DM or email Sandy at sandy@louisianafurryconvention.com ASAP.
What is the schedule for the convention?
-Please check the Events Page for the complete schedule for Frosty Fur Fest 2026!
Are there any deadlines?
Yes! The deadline for ticket sales before they increase to At The Door prices is December 26th @11:59PM. The deadline for the Room Block before it is CLOSED is January 14th.
Do I have to have a fursuit to attend FFF?
-No not at all! While fursuits are awesome and well-loved in our community, you are free to wear casual clothes, cosplays, or SFW pup hoods! Just keep it family-friendly – no BDSM gear in public spaces.
What should I bring?
Government ID
Refillable water bottle
Deodorant & hygiene kit
Phone charger / portable battery
Cash or card for Dealers’ Den
Comfy shoes (you’ll walk a lot!)
Is there a quiet space if I get overwhelmed?
Yes – the Headless Lounge (fursuiters & non-suiters welcome) is low-light and calm.
Will there be food?
On-site restaurant + nearby fast food (Waffle House, IHOP, Taco Bell all <2 miles). Bring snacks!
How do I get a refund if I can’t come?
There are no refunds for purchases unless it is the mistake of the convention. If you purchased multiple tickets your guest is able to attend, we are happy to upgrade your ticket for no upcharge. If it is the month of the con and you cannot attend, your registration can be moved to the following year with director approval.
Is there a lost & found?
Yes – at the Help Desk all weekend. Unclaimed items donated after 30 days.
I’m shy / have social anxiety – any tips?
Wear a colored lanyard (we’ll have red/yellow/green at registration):
Green = “I’m open to chat/hugs”
Yellow = “Headphones = don’t approach”
Red = “Please don’t initiate – I’ll come to you”
Are there any boundaries I should be aware of at the con?
-Yes! Many of those in our community wear messages on their badges so please keep your eyes out for those; they can include things like “limited sight”, “low visibility”, “head of hearing”, “ask before hugs”, “ask before pictures”, etc. Please respect everyone's boundaries regardless of signage. We ask that you DO NOT EVER touch someone without expressed permission, take a photo of someone without expressed permission, or yell at someone to get their attention.
This is my first convention/ first furry convention. What should I expect?
